Chad A. Heise

Prior to joining Merritt & Merritt, Chad spent several years as a Paralegal at a large firm in Burlington, Vermont. Additionally, Chad worked as a Paralegal/Docket Coordinator for many years at the global law firm Drinker Biddle (formerly Preuss Walker & Shanagher) in its San Francisco, California office.  In addition to his extensive legal experience, Chad was also Artistic Director for the San Francisco annex of Heise Metal Sculpture (founded by his uncle Bill Heise in Vermont in 1966), Director of Operations for Campamento WindSports in Honduras, and bassist for Capricorn recording artists “Box Set” and Burlington-based band “Motel Brown.”

When not in the office, Chad enjoys making music, creating metal sculpture, as well as hockey, windsurfing, surfing, and snowboarding.
